The food is amazing and they are very friendly and warm. p.s. best octopus I tasted. If you are into wine as well, they have a great collection of the finest wine Portugal has to offer.

We were walking on the camino and this place was recommended because it was open before 8pm and we were hungry. The scallops were out of this world delcious. And the staff were really helpful in helping us choose what to order. They showed us photos from the website and spoke some English with our rudimentary portuguese. The wine was also delcious. Some of the best food we ate the whole trip. The staff were attentive but not breathing down our necks to take our plates and just genuinely interested in making and serving high quality, local food..some but not many vegetarian options fyi.

The whole family enjoyed our dinner here. It is a small restaurant that has such a homely feel to it like you’re visiting a neighbour. The tapas were gorgeous and there were plenty of gluten-free options to try which is somewhat rare in tapas restaurants. Of course you have to try a bottle of wine too!

We were a band of lost pilgrims, our belief tested to the point of doubt, to the point of collective Kierkegaardian existential crisis. But a meal at O Tasco Regional completely restored our faith in God, humanity and food. Christina and Raul are food saints. And yes, you have dispensation to order fries and dessert.

Food was good. We had 5 tapas, fish and shelfish, bread, one glass of wine, water and two desserts and a coffee for 74€. Portions are adequate. The octopus and shellfish was fresh. The restaurant is small, but the service is very good, attentive and welcoming. We didn't find a changing table in the toilets but they look clean. Outside there are few parking slots but we found one with no problem. Recommended for who wants to have a taste of fresh fish and the feel of a typical Portuguese cuisine.

Visited the restaurant for lunch with family. Small but lovely restaurant with very friendly staff. Book a table to avoid disappointment. We had tapas dishes including; chorizo, garlic prawns, scallops, octopus and steak. All cooked really well and tasted delicious. Puds we’re cracking too. I had Natas dos Céu, which was a bit like panacotta crossed with cheesecake. It was lovely anyway! Prices were higher but worth it. Highly recommend this restaurant.
